Working for a magazine as a host, I often get to try out new things. Sometimes this is fun, and other times it can be interesting. Often times I’m approached for different, non-invasive, cosmetic treatments. SculpSure has been around for a couple of years, but I didn’t know anyone personally that had tried it. But, the thought of losing stubborn fat in one session sounded pretty unbelievable to me. So, when the leading plastic surgeon in Atlanta offered me a chance to try it out, I said yes.
How does it work? What does it feel like?
What is a SculpSure Treatment?
Being a bit nervous about the procedure, Dr. Whitaker of Atlanta Face & Body, thoroughly explained how it worked. It’s a non-invasive body contouring where you can lose up to 25% of stubborn body fat in a particular treatment area in 25 minutes. The above video is a documentation of my procedure of laser treatment with Sculpsure. I am not sponsored by SculpSure, Dr. Whitaker, nor was paid to do this video.
How Does SculpSure Work?
This information below is quoted from www.SculpSure.com.
“Target: Targeted laser energy heats fat cells under the skin without affecting the skin’s surface.
Reducing Fat Cells: The SculpSure laser raises the temperature of fat cells damaging their structural integrity. Elimination: Over the next three months, the damaged fat cells are processed and eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system.
RESULTS: Fat cells are permanently removed and will not regenerate. Results can be seen as quickly as six weeks, and optimal results typically are seen at 12 weeks.”
What does SculpSure Feel Like?
Do you know the feeling of holding a lightly warm cup of coffee? Not hot, but just a bit warm on your hands. Once the treatment starts, this is what I would say is closest to what I felt. Then, that level of heat can be increased for optimal fat burning. Having this on my thighs and the fat around that area it could take more heat. When I thought about optimal fat burning, I was ready for it to warm up! *I am not a physician, so please note this is my personal story and shouldn’t be used as any more than that.

It takes up to three months to see the results, and I have to stay I was stunned. I really did notice changes in my thigh area. Was it massive? No. Was it enough for me to notice? Indeed. Am I going to post photos on the internet of my sculpture results on my thighs? No. I’m a 40ish-year-old woman. What about weight loss? I experienced fat loss and body contouring. Can it be used in other Would I recommend it or do it again? Yes, yes, and yes. I was happy to demonstrate to people what the procedure was and how it actually works. The video above is of my actual SculpSure procedure.
SculpSure vs. CoolSculpting
The easiest way to differentiate them is the way in which they get rid of fat. SculpSure uses heat, CoolSculpting by cooling to a certain temperature.
According to ASAPS or American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the average cost of SculpSure is around $1458, but it could surge up to $2050. https://topliposuctioncost.com/sculpsure/
